Foradori's Final Thoughts

1. Impressive 8-3 win over Vegas Gold last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the win?   It was really good actually, aside from Zach Smith. He was basically invisible out there. He’s definitely lost a step and just doesn’t want to accept it yet.

2. Clint appeared to be dialed in after breaking his stick last week. What was your impression of his overall play last night? He bailed us out a few times but I’m sure if you asked him we played pretty well in front of him also. He made the saves he had to and then some.

3. Vegas Gold was held to 3 goals. How were you able to do it? Any average team in this league can contain Bob. Their whole team just throws it toward him the whole game and hopes he does something with it

4. You took Anthony’s place last night. Whats it like playing alongside Zach? I’ll tell you what, I thought Zach was a good player till last night. All I can say is he should feel lucky that I showed up last night to save his season.

5. Anthony might not be able to play for the rest of the season. Any chance you will step in and what kind of chance do you think you guys have for the rest of the season if you do? Depends if Zach actually holds up his end of the bargain and takes me out on that date he promised me. But if they play smarter defensively even without me they should be able to make some noise.

6. Noah’s team continues to destroy opponents. Do you hope to get another chance to play against them again at some point this season? I don’t know I’m old and out of shape. I’d rather someone else fills in against them.

7. NFL is 10 weeks in now. Who is the favorite to win the super bowl at this point of the season?  Philly obviously is the favorite. But Denver has a chance, their defense is unbelievable.

 8. Mason Rudolf looked good in his back up role. Do you think the offense would do better with him in there than Rodgers? I think Rodger’s is doing fine. The defense has been way below average this year when it was supposed to be the best in the league.

9. What kind of expectations do you have for the steelers the rest of the season?  10-7, first round exit.

 10. Chiefs are now 5-5. Are you surprised at all? No, they weren’t all that good last year. They got bailed out a lot and this year it’s just not happening

11. Ravens are also 5-5 now. You think they are the favorites to win the AFC North? They should be, every other team is so up and down including the bengals.

12. Raiders got embarrassed on tv last night. Will that team ever be good again?  I can’t see how they will be. They’ve never had a good consistent QB and if you say Carr was a good QB you’re insane.

 13. Shadeur made his debut. Do you think he has any upside as he gains experience? I think he got drafted exactly where he should have. Late in the draft because he has 0 talent.

14. Bears are 7-3. Are they for real now or do you think they are flawed? If they beat up on the Steelers this week they’re for real. But if they struggle against an average Steeler team then maybe not.

15. Colts/Broncos and Patriots are all rolling in the AFC now. Which one do you take the most serious and the least serious?  I think the broncos are the most serious and the colts are the least. Colts have a pretty easy division

 16. Seahawks/49ers/Rams all in the same division. Who wins it?  Rams, no doubt in my mind.

 17. The Jets benched Fields. Do you think the Steelers made the right move getting rid of him and would you like to see some Will Howard at some point? I don’t know about right decision. He’s never really gotten any help offensively and just been parts of rebuilds his whole career. I don’t want to see Howard until next year.

18. College football has a 12 team playoff format. Do you like the format or do you think that’s too many teams?  I like the format, but I think it’s still flawed how they rank teams. Alabama always gets ranked higher because they’re Alabama but they have some bad losses this year.

 19. Brockway Rovers got shut out on Friday night. What positives did you take out of their season?   I can’t stand brockway football. They ran away from all competition to win Mickey Mouse district championships and then go to states and play a real 3A team and get steamrolled. But at least they beat St Mary’s twice and got a gold medal for it, right?

20. Pittsburgh Pirates need to make a lot of changes this offseason. Do you think they actually will?  It’s hard for me to believe they will but I think the commissioner stepped in and is making them spend more. So possibly.
