2026 Season Underway
Invaders 14 Bear Claw 2 The Invaders kicked off the 2026 XHL season with an impressive new look to go along with a 14-2 win over the Bear Claw last night. Jake and Noah took their talents to the Colonials this season opening up the door for Clint to add a few new faces along with a new look to the Invaders. We did not get to see the new guy (Gearhart) due to an illness. Some other teams were missing guys last night due to illness as well. The Bear Claw are simply look

Black Finishes the Job
Zach Smith and team Blue did not go away quietly in last nights fall league season finale, but the combination of youth along with 25 years experience in net and Noah prevailed in the end. Less than a minute into the game, Braxton put Black up 1-0 and it looked like the tone was set for everyone present at the rink to go home early. Blue had answers in the first 2 periods and actually found themselves up by 2 goals on 2 different occasions late in the 2 nd period. Clint

Interviews
Brian Anderson (Fill in Goalie for white, fill in skater for Blue) 1. You played 3 games tonight. Perhaps getting eliminated last week was a better way to go personally. How are you feeling after being under the weather Saturday? I actually felt pretty good after the games were over last night but feeling pretty rough today. The goalie experiment last night was a little disappointing but I know that team has made a lot of goalies and teams look bad this season. Anyone w

Foradori's Final Thoughts
1. 3 games of hockey last night. Are you able to move right now? Not very well, but I’m alive. 2. Noah’s team dominated the league from start to finish. What did you observe from them in all the times you played against them this season? Adam was the major factor in their season. He’s been on top of his game the whole season 3. You guys were able to beat Gold. Is that a little consolation at least? Looking back on it I wish we lost 4. Yeti appear to be set for XHL.

4 teams left, black still unbeaten
Black 11 White 8 We weren’t sure if black would have to play last night after orange elected to forfeit their game against them, but team white picked up a win to start the night against blue and were willing to take their chances against black last night at 820. Unfortunately for them, they ran out of energy as they were playing their 2 nd ironman game of the night. When the game first started, it didn’t look like energy was going to be an issue when Ben Rossi scored 3

Playoffs Underway
Blue 7 Orange 6 The playoffs began with a doozy of a game between the #2 and #5 seeds -- Blue v. Orange. Blue started the game where they left off the same way they finished the regular season; dominating the early chances to take a 3-0 lead. Jaron Buffone kicked it off by cleaning up a missed shot that caromed off the back wall right to his stick 5 minutes into the game. Zach Smith followed it up with his first goal of the game a couple minutes later. Jaron then took

Foradori's Final Thoughts
1. Impressive 8-3 win over Vegas Gold last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the win? It was really good actually, aside from Zach Smith. He was basically invisible out there. He’s definitely lost a step and just doesn’t want to accept it yet. 2. Clint appeared to be dialed in after breaking his stick last week. What was your impression of his overall play last night? He bailed us out a few times but I’m sure if you asked him we played pretty well i

A week ago around this time, Clint was probably ordering a new stick following a lopsided loss to team Black. Team Black has made a habit of frustrating opposing goalies a

Foradori's final thoughts
1. You got yourself back on the court last night, transitioning from Brockway hockey to Reynoldsville hockey. What was it like adjusting from one style to another? It was horrible. That ball sucks, you can’t even put a pass slightly off the ground without it bouncing over the intended target’s stick. And trying to shoot that thing after playing with a puck is almost impossible . 2. It was a painful night going up against a team full of speedsters. What was your impression o
