Adam (Yeti)

1. 7-6 win last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the win? The effort was great the entire game. We had a few moments where we let our guard down, allowing for a couple quick strikes, but the guys fought back and kept us in the game.

2. You were down 5 to 1 in the 2nd period. How do you think you were able to turn the game around? The guys just never got down. We felt that we were in the game and had a chance, even being down by 4.

3. No Ben or Jeff. How do you think the rest of the team did in their absence? They all stepped up.

4. Shootouts. What’s your mindset when it’s all on you to make the big save? I love the challenge! I try to get the shooter to make the first move or go where I want them to go.

5. USA got the big win Sunday. The opposing coach doesn’t like the overtime format. What’s your take on the overtime format? Their coach didn't complain when his team won, with the same rules, in the 4 Nations Tournament. 3 on 3 is a set up for a fast paced, open ice style of play and is meant to create an exciting, hopefully quick finish. Admittedly, I enjoy the 3 on 3 overtime, but in this case or any type of championship, overtime should be 5 on 5.

Rob Reed (Fill in for Bear Claw)

1. 10 to 4 win last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the win? Everybody played well, it was a fun game.

2. The game was close until the 3rd period. What do you think the team did better in the 3rd period? Dont think we really did much different, more pucks just went in.

3. You have filled in the last 2 weeks for this team. How do you think you have all done trying to fit in with one another? I felt like I did a much better job connecting with Jaron & Coltyn on outlet passes than last week.

4. What was your impression of the venom? They have a good lineup, I felt like we were lucky to be tied half way. After that I guess we just got the breaks/bounces and they didnt.

5. How do you think you guys did defensively in trying to help Brian out as much as you could? First goal was my fault, Alex limited Troy to a shot that Brian could see & play but I failed to prevent Waltman from capitalizing on the rebound. After that I felt we as a D unit did a good job of limiting 2nd chances - getting the ball to our forwards going the other way.

Morgan Lyons (Venom)

1. 10-4 loss to the bear claw last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the loss? I think everyone puts in effort but we just weren’t playing together as well as we should have

2. The game got away in the 3rd period. What do you think went wrong? I feel like we always get tired in the third period and that’s when we get worse lol

3. Laken back for one game. How do you think she did for you? i think she did great! I’d always rather have her beat up people for me then beat me up lol

4. What positives can you take from the game?  I love my team and I’m just happy to play with good people who make me laugh

5. Brian in net instead of Kaden last night. How do you think you guys did in trying to get quality shots against him?  I think we got some good shots but Brian’s a machine in net!

Announcement:

We haven't run into any issues this season (knock on wood), but if we do happen to run into any disciplinary issues, Adam, Clint and Jake will decide on what action needs to be taken. If one of their teammates are directly involved, we will let the other 2 people decide on what needs done. Thanks to everyone for making this easy for us so far this season.
