1. 7-5 win over the Colonials last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the win? Team effort was great like usual! We put ourselves out of position on a couple goals chasing the ball but overall I thought we played a solid game!
2. It was a game of momentum swings. How enjoyable was it to play such a big part in the win and how would you describe the game overall? I love games like that! Its what makes hockey fun! Game could've went either way! Bounces can change a game quickly but most of the time, hustle and hard work gets those bounces on your side!
3. What have you observed from Noah and Jake as they try to fit in with their new teammates? I think they fit in great! Noahs a great playmaker all around and I know better than anyone else whats Jake offers a goalie! Also let's your team push up harder when you have a D man like that playing in front of you!
4. In Reiter’s perspective, he said he was more worried about Brian’s easy goals over guys like Noah and Bob. How do you think you guys did trying to contain those 2? I think we did well! Collapsed on them coming into the zone and kept them out of the middle! Of course Brian had that one! Just a lil late getting to my post!
5. You were on Zach Smith’s team this fall and again this season. How would you describe his overall value as a teammate? Zach is a great player! His hockey sense is among the top in the league and hes never not hustling! He doesn't think of himself as much of a scorer but he has a great shot! When hes hitting the net, look out!
6. Laken and Jay may get a little overlooked with all the star power on your team. How do you think they are fitting in so far? They've both been great! Jay has been playing good D and chipping in a goal here and there when he gets his opportunities! His passing is what has impressed me as of late! Bobo doesn't stop moving forward! And she doesn't back down to anyone! Just ask Noah how that went in the final minute last night! Shes blending well with the whole team!
7. Match was a little unnessarily critical of himself for the colonials losing. As a goalie, what can you say to cheer him up? Match knows! It's a part of goaltending! You have a little bit of an off night and it can ruin the whole game! Best thing is to forget and move on! Make the next save! I have a hard time doing that myself though!
8. 3rd period went back and forth as well. Did you think there was a play for you guys that put the momentum in your favor? I dont think it was a specific play! We just kept our heads down and kept going! Lil luck helped out on the post Edminston hit for sure!
9. You have been goalying for a long time now and as most goalies do, you struggled when you first started. What words of encouragement can you give to those who are trying it out and go through their ups and downs? Doesn't matter how long you play, you're still gonna have nights where you look like a rookie! Best thing I've learned is make sure your angles are on and you'll stop half the shots without moving and never take your eyes off the ball/puck! Moment you do, it goes in!
10. When you give goals up, do you consider yourself to have a short term memory or do you beat yourself up over some of them? It depends on the night! Theres sometimes where I completely let it go but theres also times where I cant get a certain goal out of my head! Goalie, I believe, is more mental than ability! If you have your head on straight, you're tough to beat!
11. You really keep your composure in games except for breaking a stick this past fall in a game against Noah’s group. Is beating Noah a little more satisfying for you or do you just consider a win a win? hahah! Ya I regretted that, sticks aren't cheap! I was more so mad at myself for not playing well for my team! I was awful that game! Tbh, beating any top player is satisfying!
12. XHL and SRHL. How do you compare the 2 of them along with the draft leagues we try to put together? I do enjoy SRHL a little better mainly because of the puck! Alot easier to see it with a white background(being colorblind or colordumb as some of my friends would say) and feel it when it hits you! Also the outdoor aspect of it is great! Except when you drive an hr for it to rain when you pull in! Draft leagues are also fun though at either place...change of scenery and its just less stressful!
13. You were a part of last years Knights undefeated championship team. Was it disappointing to break up and what made a few of the guys decide to go in another direction? It was but hey, people like to change it up every so often! That was a fun team to be apart of! I do enjoy playing against Jake and Noah though! Great competition!
14. Nate was watching the game last night. How would you describe his role for you guys in last years undefeated season? Nate is a tenacious player! Skates hard and forechecks like an animal! He scored a few big goals for us last year! When he hit the net at least! Except in warmups! I should've put money on him hitting me in the face every week! I would've been a wealthy man!
15. Cory is back this season. What does a guy like him bring to your team? Cory has always been a solid player all the way around! I can tell hes starting to gain a lil step back each week! Great D man blocking shots for us and he shakes and bakes once in awhile! Excited to see what he does in Brockway this summer!
16. Its probably no secret that organized hockey could be in its final stretch. Do you think it can possibly keep going considering there isn’t as much youth as there should be and considering we are all getting older now? Ya I hate to say it but it seems to be on the trend downward! Its a shame cuz I've loved playing and ill probably play until i cant or im tired of my hips and knees hurting! I think it will hang on for as long as it can but if we dont start seeing more younger players like Noah playing itll end alot sooner!
17. Mike McCarthy hiring ----- what did you think? At first I was skeptical but now im just happy to not see Tomlin at the helm! Hes overstayed his welcome by at least 5 yrs now! But looking at his history...hes had alot of work developing top QBs and his offenses have been pretty solid! And hes a Pittsburgh guy! If you cant root for him to be successful then theres a problem! They'll at least be their typical 10-7!
18. Seahawks sort of came out of nowhere this season. Which team do you think has a chance to do that next season? Ya they got hot at the right time! Their defense was also disgusting! Ooo, thats a tough one! Gotta go with either LA or Buffalo! Stafford will have a similar year and I know Allens year is coming!
19. Josh Allen just can’t get over the hump. You might be too young to remember Dan Marino, but he never won a super bowl either. Do you think Josh Allen will ever get a ring? O, Marino was a stud but no. Going back to the previous question, its just a matter of time! Hes too skilled! I think he'll get one in the next 3 yrs!
20. As we ask Zach Foradori ----- what random thoughts are going through your head after last nights game? Every game against the Colonials will be like that! I wouldnt be surprised to see them again here in 6 or 7 weeks! Ive also enjoyed watching some Olympic hockey! Idk whos scarier! The USA womans team or watching Sid, McDavid, and McKinnon all on the ice at the same time! Neither is very fair!

1. 2 games last night. How are you feeling today? Pretty good actually right now, I played the day before too so I’m sure the soreness will set in tomorrow.
2. You guys pulled away from the bear claw in the 2nd period. At that point, were you trying to conserve energy for the game against the Yeti or were you still trying to establish some momentum for the upcoming game? I think we backed off a little once we got ahead by a few goals. The bear claw team was nothing to mess around with either. They definitely could have stolen the game with the players they had.
3. Playing 2 games in one night. Do you think it’s easier to just play back to back so you don’t tighten up or do you think a rest in between games is better? I definitely prefer back to back.
4. Low scoring game against the Yeti. Do you like those kind of games better than the ones where each team seems to score everytime they touch the ball? As long as it’s close. I prefer to win but I’d rather lose a game by one goal than win by 12
5. Yeti are a new look from the last couple seasons without the usual star power we are used to from them. What was your overall impression after playing them last night? They don’t have the big names on their team but they have grit and never give up on the play. A few of their goals came after the play was already broken. Jeff and Rj always give it 110% Braxtons back check is great. He’s only going to get better. Joe is getting pretty slow these days but a solid pickup. I think if they limit Foradori’s time on the court they can win against any team. Also Adam is ok in net.
