Foradori's Final Thoughts

1. You guys poured it on after finding yourselves down by 2 goals late in the 2nd period. What do you think you guys did better at as the game went on? It seemed like we kept getting bunched up not knowing where everyone was going to be. Which is typical for guys that haven’t played together much if at all. But we started to figure everyone out as the game went on and the floor opened up

2. Matt Jewell is only 10 years old, but he has already contributed 4 goals on the season. What sport do you remember playing when you were 10 years old? I only played baseball that young. But when a 10 year old has more goals than RJ does it really helps out

3. Rossi, Jeff and RJ were all present last night. How do you think you guys did in trying to establish some team chemistry?  It was rough at the start. RJ and Ben have played together for a while along with Dave and Braxton but for Jeff Matt and I we have some figuring out to do with the other players. It helps when you have Adam back though if there’s a lapse in defense

4. Eagles picked up a big win last night and are waiting for you next week. Have you forgotten the comment that Llew made about you only scoring 7 goals in one season versus Clontz scoring 7 goals in one game?  I don’t concern myself with what other people say about me. I just know I had more goals by myself than the whole eagles roster did last night

5. You probably wanted to go home earlier to watch the national championship game last night. At what point in the game did you get to start watching it?   It was halftime when I got home so I got to see the whole second half

6. Miami had a chance late in the game. Were you surprised at all? Was I surprised Beck threw an interception late in the game? No. He’s trash

7. Rams/Seahawks, Broncos/Patriots. Who wins those games? Seahawks/Patriots

8. Bo Nix was drafted after JJ McCarthy and Michael Penix. Why do you think he went after them? Nix isn’t anything great, he’s just in a good system with a dominant defense

9. Was that a catch by Cooks in overtime? I think it was but I guess by rule it wasn’t. I still think they should have reviewed it

10. 10 NFL coaches either fired or resigned. Which surprises you the most?  I didn’t think Harbaugh would get fired

11. Who do you want the Steelers to get as their next coach? Brian Flores

12. Out of all the teams looking for coaches, which job would interest you the most if you were a coach looking for a job? That Giants team looks like they could be really good next year or in a couple years. If that was offered to me that’s the one I’d take 10/10 times

13. Should Will Howard get a shot next season? I think so, see what he does and if it doesn’t work tank for a top 5 pick next year in a QB heavy class

14. If you win the coin toss in overtime, do you want the ball first or second? I want to play defense first. Then if they score you know you have to and have all 4 downs to work with

15. What other random thoughts are going through your head after last nights games? By the looks of it, the Invaders just let the other team do whatever they want in front of their own net. The Eagles are still old and slow minus Zac Gray and Denny. And the colonials have some bugs to work out. Oh and I heard Boyd wants to take everyone to the BP Inn sometime. Whoever is interested can come, he’ll pay!
