1. 16-4 win over the Venom last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the win? I think the overall team effort was solid. There is a lot I can add but all of that is answer to subsequent questions.....so, on to question 2

2. No Bob last night. How do you think the team did in his absence last night? The team effort last night demonstrated that the team can still click without having what was our primary "possession" players along with losing another skater suiting up in goalie gear. Goto question 4 for the continuing thought......

3. You guys led comfortably throughout the game. Do you think it can be tougher to stay focused in a game where you have control from start to finish? I think MAYBE it can be tougher to stay focused for players who are constantly on the attack as they start to relax their attack. I, on the other hand, am frequently excluded from the "attack" during a game. When we are up with a big lead, that is when the regular scoring members of the team just seem to watch me try to painstakingly score. Eventually, I am just going to expect everyone to start chanting "RUDY! RUDY!...." when I get the ball.

4. Noah and Jake are used to playing a different style of hockey. What have you observed from being on their team these first 2 weeks? Ok.... picking up from question 2, the addition of Noah and Jake add a different dimension to the Colonials style of play. However, it was clearly observed that Noah provides that "possession" capability as well as Bob so in that sense, they have slotted right in to the team. It is also helpful in that the two of them are used to playing together so there is not a "one man island" when ot comes to style of play. Jake also brings the two-way play to the team such that when there are 3 defensemen on the court, the other two who aren't me can jump up in the offensive attack.

5. Invaders next week. Are you looking forward to the challenge? Yep.... looking forward to my first colonoscopy too.
