1. Tough 4 to 3 loss tonight. What can you say about the team effort despite the loss? I thought we played pretty well against an opponent that we’ll be seeing plenty of over the last few weeks. It was tough to lose such a close game, but we hung around until the end and gave them a good fight. We’ll have to adapt to what they showed us and get the win next time. 2. Any goals you wish you could have back? I always wish I could have them all back, but I don’t think I played poorly overall. I need to be more in control of my crease and not allow passes in front of me. 3. What kind of game did you expect going in? I expected a very close game. Looking at the rosters, I knew that our teams would be fairly even, and it showed throughout. Neither side really ever had control of the game. These are my favorite games to play, so I look forward to our matchup in a few weeks 4. The team only managed 3 goals. What do you think went wrong on the offensive side? I think we sometimes get caught up trying to get shots on net and forget about the quality of the goaltenders in the league. We take every open opportunity and overlook the play that could lead to a better scoring chance. I think some teams make a few too many passes; we need to make a few more. 5. Yeti next week. You think this team can give them a decent game? I think that we can give any team in the league a game on any given night. I’d never count us out, and any team that takes us lightly will be surprised. I’m looking forward to finishing out the season with my team and hope to make a run in the playoffs.
