  1. 8-7 loss to the hounds last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the loss? We didn’t put our best effort out there to start. We got behind early, and although we nicely recovered, it wasn’t enough.

  1. The Hounds had several guys missing and the only two that we could get to form out a team were Jay and Noah. Do you think the added challenge of facing a couple of knights could benefit you guys when you play the colonials next week? They certainly added a different element to that team. We need to be ready to compete each night no matter who we’re lining up across from.

  2. You guys made a good comeback in the 3rd period. What do you think the team did better at? I only played as needed. That certainly helped. We kept our best offense out there and got more shots on net.

  3. Dodd was another fill in. How do you think he did in his fill in role last night? The Dodd-Father looked pretty sharp out there. He played well the entire game and didn’t cough up many rebounds.

  4. Participation in all leagues seems to be declining, especially with goalies. Do you get worried that each year could be the last? I try not to worry too much. I remember a couple winter leagues where we only had 4 teams, and heard the same chatter.

I’m not sure what’s going to happen if some more of us “veterans” decide to hang it up. It would be nice to find a way to get a pool of young players to take over someday. Some of the youth seem eager to chip in and get involved, and that’s a great first step. The next step is finding more of them.
