***Got Reunited with the Anderson's for one game.***
1. 2 games of hockey last night. How would you describe your regular team (yellow) effort last night? We scored some goals, just not as many as the other team. There are some signs of life and the question now is if we will be able to start "clicking" before the season is over.
2. Both the games you played went back and forth. How enjoyable is it to play in games like that? At this point in my journey, every game I get to play is enjoyable regardless of the score. Of course winning is nice every once in a while. Back and forth games add a degree of suspense. Makes it a little more enjoyable.
3. You saw Matchock make some big saves in both the games you played in last night. How would you describe his play overall in both those games? I feel like he steps it up when playing against me. Maybe it's a personal thing? Just glad I didn't aim for his cup.
4. Has it been tough adjusting from all the hockey in Brockway this summer to the new hockey league in Reynoldsville? I prefer playing with the puck. I accept the fact we don't in Reynoldsville. The biggest transition is the wheels. I can use a softer wheel in Brockway. The first 2 games this season I still had the soft wheels on. It felt like I was glued to the floor. Switched to the harder wheels this week and it was SO much better.
5. Whats it been like trying to fit in with some unusual teammates in this fall league? This is quite the crew of players that I've not played with I. The past, or have played with very little. It is definitely a benefit when playing with people you typically do. Synergy is a legitimate concept. However, it is also a growing experience playing with different players. Pushes us all outside of our comfort zone a little. I've scored 2 goals in 3 games on an offensive rush. WHEN DO I ever do THAT?!?!? So it is helping me expand a little.
