1. 4-3 loss to the Mayhem last night. What can you say about the overall team effort? Well... the team effort was decent... it had to be being ironman. I was a little less dedicated to staying back compared to usual. Thankfully Kevin was back a lot of the time with me. Always a break-in period the first game back.

2. The team only scored 3 goals. What do you think went wrong offensively? Henry played a solid game. Maybe we were a little too focused on making pretty plays instead of putting shots on goal.

3. Ironman and them having Henry in net made it a tough challenge. Were you surprised at all that the Mayhem pulled off the win? Yes.... Henry definitely made it tough. Being ironman never really helps. They are mostly a young, fast team. That should never be underestimated.

4. What positives can the team take out of a game like that? I always take the exercise and health aspect as a positive from any game. As far as gameplay, maybe we observed some things we can do differently against them and other teams for future games.

5. XHL is still going all these years later. Did you ever imagine playing hockey into the year 2024 when you first started playing hockey several years ago? I wasn't thinking I would still be playing at 51 years old. I've said before and I'll say again... if I stop for even a little while, I'm likely done. I need to keep going until I can't any longer. I'm not looking forward to walking as my exercise.
