1. 6-4 loss to the knights last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the loss? The effort was there for most of the game but i really wish we could go back and replay the last 5 mins of the 2nd period
2. Aside from a bad end to the 2nd period, are you encouraged to only lose to them by 2 goals with 2 key players missing from your lineup last night? Im not looking for an excuse. We could have won the game with the roster we put on the floor. Its certainly a good thing for us that we have 2 very good hockey players who were not in the lineup
3. Speaking of a bad end to the 2nd period, what do you think went wrong for you guys at the end of the 2nd period last night? We know exactly what happened on the first goal. We were communicating in our D zone mid play and made a really bad switch that resulted in a goal. The next one was even worse and i blame myself for it.
4. You will have Zac Gray back next week. What do you expect his presence to bring to your team the rest of the season? If people dont know him by now…. They will soon. He brings a grab bag of different skills that will improve our team overall but I most look forward to the boost on offense.
5. Derrian and Kelsey will be the recipients of this years event. Do you think having members of our league (as the recipients) will make this years event the best one yet? The tournament is for a great cause. Always has been and always will be. This year I think everyone in our league has a little extra motivation to get out there and support one of our own.
