Mason Britton (Fill in goalie for Hounds)

1. 9-5 win over the walkers last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the win last night? The team put forth a great effort. We did a good job of keeping the puck out of our defensive zone, especially the middle of the rink, and did well at applying pressure offensively.

2. The game went back and forth. What did you think was the turning point of the game? At about the 10 minute mark of the 3rd period, our offense really opened up with a few goals to get some separation, and we were getting entries into the offensive zone much easier. I felt that around that time was the turning point.

3. You have not played hockey since last summer. How did you feel out there following the game? I felt good for the most part. A bit tired and unconditioned afterwards since I haven’t played in about 6 months, but that’s normal after any game.

4. Were you happy with how you played? . I was happy overall with how I played. I know I let in a few rusty goals and could have taken away some angles a little bit better, but for the most part I felt good about it. My defense playing so well in front of me helped out a lot, too.

5. Will you be able to play more hockey as the winter goes on or this summer in Brockway? I’m not sure, most of it really depends on my schedule, as I don’t have a ton of time at this time of year right now to get involved that much.

Adam McKinley (Yeti and skater for hounds)

1. 10-2 win over the bear claw last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the win? Great team effort. Everyone is all in every game, even if we're missing players.

2. 3 goals for Braxton in this game. How nice was it to see him contribute to the win last night? It's always a proud moment, as a dad, you see your child do well. I think his play has already come a long way this season.

3. You two skated out for the hounds last night and contributed to the win. What can you say about the overall team effort for the hounds in that win? It was a great team win. The Hounds deserved and earned this one. The team has been waiting a long time for this win. Everyone played their position with confidence and move well as a unit. I was proud to be a part of it.

4. The walkers are still winless. Are you surprised at all considering some of the good talent and improvement on the roster? Oh for sure. They could easily have a few wins on their record. They are a good group.

5. Cody is the friend instead of the enemy this season. How do you think he has blended in with Zach, Dave and Derik so far (in the few games they have been together)? They have all played together at some point throughout their careers so I'm not really concerned about the chemistry. It's there! This is a great group to play behind. They never give up and they work extremely well together. I'm glad Braxton is able to fit in. He can learn a lot from these guys.

Kaden Coulter (Bear Claw)

1. 10-2 loss to the Yeti last night. What can you say about the overall team effort in the loss? The team effort was good, we didn’t have the full team there so we played with what we had and I think we played decent.

2. Despite the loss, you had to have felt pretty good about how you played. Did you feel good about how you played? I did feel good for sure. I feel like I’ve been getting better and better every season, and I am looking forward to playing more

3. The yeti are one of the top teams in the league for a reason. What was your impression of them last night? They are a great team. They have an amazing goalie and some great forwards. Their team play is outstanding. It was fun playing against them.

4. You have gotten a lot better since you started playing a few years ago. What have you done different since you first started? I have started to go down more and work on my angles, those are very important parts in being a goalie. I’ve been watching some other goalies in the league, seeing what they are doing differently and trying to implement that into my play

5. What positives can you take out of last nights game going into the rest of the season? We played the whole game. Except Zach he stopped playing at 14:49 left in the first period lol, but despite the score everyone played great. If we keep playing and don’t give up we will do alright.
