The Venom felt the effects of losing up-and-coming goaltender Tony Nanai, as they were mercy ruled by the Colonials and Sharks Wednesday. The Colonials defeated them 15-0 in a make-up game at 5:15. Jordan Snell got his first shutout for the Colonials, while Bob Anderson led the scoring attack with two goals and eight assists. John Hrusth pitched in six goals and an assist.
